Calling all Anglophiles

There are some people of little talent (Keira Knightly) who go through this life being taken totally seriously for one reason and one reason alone. They speak with a British accent. It's an American fascination. We can't help ourselves. When they speak, we listen.  So I wouldn't be the first (Madonna) to try to harness that power to serve my own interests.

I know. You can't resist. And the accent doesn't even have to be good(Madonna).  Tell all your friends before the spell wears off.

  4. You are a complete nut!!! And that's why I love you and am proud to call you friend. The funny thing is I also wonder why Disney chooses to give most villains a British accent. Hmmmmmm...

  5. Thank you for finally voicing my seemingly (until now) solitary feelings about Keira Knightly and her talentless eyeteeth. It needed to be said.

  7. I am falling off my chair over here! The only thing that was missing is the incredibly obnoxious underbite. I love the air mattress and cleavage shots. Killing me...

Ok, I'm fine. Did you see Atonement? I just watched it the other night. By myself. Why do I always watch depressing movies by myself? Digression. Thank you for all your work, Rebekah. It's hard and thankless work, and I feel your pain.

  12. Oh, you... Just know that I will always follow your blog. It's just what you need to give all of us scattered-used-to-be-friends who still need a Rebekah fix. It's not easy to overcome the habit.

Maybe you can give us some German at some point.

  13. Oh I miss you! Just the other day I was sitting in Relief Society and thought to myself, "I could really use a Rebekah lesson right now." Just to let you know that the Stevens family misses you-with or without the English accent :)
